Jerry Brown

Jerry BrownJerry committed journalism for 20 years. He’s been practicing public relations even longer than that.

He was assignment editor of AP’s Washington Bureau during Watergate; spent five years as a reporter for the Rocky Mountain News in Denver; and worked for the U.S. Information Agency, daily newspapers in Little Rock and Fort Worth and several trade publications.

Jerry was a member of the corporate PR staff of U S WEST, one of the Baby Bells created by the breakup of the Bell Telephone System. During his 17 years at U S WEST, he was chief speechwriter for two company presidents and also focused on media relations, crisis communication and marketing communication. He’s been an independent PR consultant for more than 10 years.

Jerry is a member of the South Metro Denver and Lone Tree Chambers of Commerce and the board of directors of the Public Relations Society of America’s Colorado Chapter.

Peter Kowalchuk

Peter KowalchukPeter is a 30-plus-year PR and communication veteran who has worked with small start-ups and large global corporations – low-tech, hi-tech and everything in between.

He co-founded and managed a database marketing and demand-generation business for eight years. He managed marketing and branding programs in many different industries and received the coveted Diamond Echo Award from the Direct Marketing Association for the best direct marketing campaign of the year, selected from more than 13,000 global entries.

He’s created and implemented media and crisis communication plans for both large and small companies, including Fortune 50 companies Martin Marietta and United Technologies.

Peter brings his wealth of experience to bear on the burgeoning cannabis industry.

He is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators and the Public Relations Society of America.
